Woman Pleads Guilty To Smacking Neighbor With 10-Pound Meat Stick At Walmart

OHIO- A woman has been charged after admitting to smacking her neighbor in the face with a 10-pound log of ground beef after they ran into each other at a Walmart.

Maneka Garner, 27, pleaded no contest on Tuesday to disorderly conduct in connection to the attack that happened in May 2021, according to The Smoking Gun.

Garner was sentenced to a 30-day suspended jail term and a year of probation, along with a $155 fine.

Garner was with her 5-year-old son shopping when she saw her neighbor, Precious Jackson, 37, and her 7-year-old daughter, according to the outlet.

The suspect confronted Jackson in the potato chip aisle, pulled down her face mask, and attempted to spit on her before threatening to beat up her daughter.

Garner then took a $22 10-pound pack of beef and slapped Jackson in the face several times.

Jackson had an order of protection against Garner, who lived downstairs from her in a complex. Garner told police that he thought the order had expipred.

Garner was charged with assault and violating the order of protection.
