ATLANTA- Migos rapper Offset broke his silence after the death of his groupmate and cousin, Takeoff.
Offset took to his Instagram Tuesday, sharing a slideshow with photos of him and Takeoff, writing “I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare,” he wrote.
He added, “I love you forever.”
Offset, Takeoff and fellow groupmate Quavo, are related and all grew up with each other in Atlanta since they were young.
Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle.
The Migos were broken up at the time of Takeoff’s death.
Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston bowling alley while playing a dice game. The groups label said Takeoff died from a “stray bullet.”
