NYC- Singer Trey Songz is denying that he allegedly assaulted a woman in New York City on November 19.
The NYPD says a woman came forward and filed a police report in October. In the report, the alleged unidentified victim claims the singer repeatedly punched her in the face while inside of a bathroom at a bowling alley, according to TMZ.
She claims Songz dragged her by her hair during the attack. The woman was treated at a hospital where police noted that she had minor yet visible injuries, reports TMZ.
It’s unclear what started the alleged incident, but the woman claims that she’s an employee at the bowling alley who recognized the singer and gave his name to police.
There is now an active investigation.
The singer’s lawyer has issued a statement which says that Song is cooperating with police.
