Man Upset Over Missing Keys Opens Fire In Bar, Taken Down By Patrons

FLORIA- A man is accused of opening fire inside of a bar after he became upset over losing his keys, police said.

Connor Anderson was inside of the Smiles Nite Club with a woman on Sunday night when he became upset after he was unable to find his cars, witnesses said, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.

Anderson left the bar and returned with a firearm, put a woman into a headlock and held a gun to her head, police said.

Patrons at the bar, who are being hailed as heroes, tackled Anderson after he fired six times towards several patrons. They were able to disarm him and hold him until police arrested him.

Police found him in a parking lot with a 9mm Glock handgun.

He was charged with six counts of shooting into a or throwing deadly missiles, three counts of aggravated assault, using a firearm while under the influence of alcoholic beverages, battery and improper exhibition of dangerous weapons or firearms.
