Rapper Theophilus “Theo” London has been found safe, according to his family.
This is the update that I longed for..
As I wrote on Wednesday, L.A. musician Kenneth Cartel, a friend of London, said he found him in Downtown Los Angeles on Skid Row. He approached the rapper, who fled, saying he didn’t want to be followed.
Cartel posted the video (which doesn’t show London) and a photo of London from across the street. He can be seen dressed in all black with a red backpack.
He said the LAPD refused to help, despite London being reported missing person.
London’s cousin, Mikhail Noel, went on Instagram hours later, and shared an update on Instagram on Wednesday, writing “We have found Theo. He is safe and well.”
Noel added “Truly appreciate everyone’s support in finding my cousin. It’s refreshing and rewarding to have such a strong support system of family and friends!”
It’s unclear of where London was found on Skid Row.
The 35-year-old rapper was reported missing by family in Dec. 27, but was last seen in July, leaving his home.
London has worked with artists such as Kanye West and others.
