NYC- Rapper Lil Tjay was arrested in The Bronx on gun charges.
The Bronx rapper was arrested Monday after police allegedly found a loaded firearm in a car he was in, according to police.
Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was in a vehicle with several of his friends when police pulled them over for an unknown reason, according to reports.
Tjay was arrested, along with one of his friends.
He was in The Bronx to shoot a music video with Icespice.
The charges against him are pending.
Tjay’s arrest comes 7 months after he was shot 7 times in New Jersey.
