Fat Joe, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, is being sued by his former business partner Scott Spinna.
Spinna,21, is suing Fat Joe for kicking him out of their sneaker business “All The Way Up” that they opened in 2016. The store is named after Fat Joe’s hit song.

Spinna filed his lawsuit against the rapper on Monday in the Southern District Court Of New York. In the court documents, Spinnas attorney states that Fat Joe kicked Spinna out of their All The Way Up store just 20 days after it opened.
The documents go on to state that after kicking Spinna out, Fat Joe allegedly told the store manager to deposit money revenue into a separate bank account that Fat Joe opened without Spinna having any knowledge of it.
The lawsuit also claims that Spinna “worked tirelessly” in those 3 months that lead up to the business opening, which is located in Washington Heights, N.Y. and that he raised $480,000 to help open the business, then got booted out of the business.
Spinna was just sentenced to almost 3 years in prison last month for financial impropriety.
