‘BMF’ Actor Lil Meech Will Not Face Gun Charges After Airport Mix-Up

FLORIDA- ‘BMF’ actor Lil Meech will be facing jail time for gun charges after a huge mix-up involving an incident at the airport in December.

Meech was arrested in December at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after TSA agents saw a 9MM in a carry-on bag he put through the security scanner.

But, there was a HUGE mix-up.

The bag in question and the firearm actually belonged to Meech’s bodyguard, who was with the actor and told police that the gun was his, but police ignored him, according to TMZ.

Meech was then arrested and charged with illegally carrying a firearm at the airport after accidentally placing his guard’s bag on the scanner.

The actor’s lawyer told TMZ that he presented evidence to Broward County prosecutors which proved the bodyguard was the owner of the gun, which included a permit for the firearm, a purchase receipt and a gun case.

Broward County prosecutors have now decided not to file a misdemeanor charge against Meech.
