ATLANTA, GEORGIA- A man and a woman have been charged in the shooting of a 3-year-old boy inside of a hotel room.
Devante Porter, 23, and his friend Jermecia Martin, 29, were both charged with aggravated assault, cruelty to children, tampering with evidence, reckless conduct and making false statements, in the shooting of Porter’s son Amir, according to Douglas County Sentinel.
The incident happened on Saturday around 9:30 a.m. Saturday when EMS workers were called to the Intown Suites in Lithia Springs for an injured child.
The boy was rushed to a Hospital to be treated for his injuries, but his condition is unknown.
Police arrested Martin and Porter on Sunday.
