Rapper Rich The Kid is remembering the late rapper Takeoff by getting a tribute tattoo of him.
According to TMZ, the 30-minute tattoo appointment happened in Tampa, Florida.
Rich The Hand was able to fit the tat appointment in between a scheduled radio interview and a recording session as he’s been on a promo tour for his new music.
Rich The Kid, who’s from Atlanta like Takeoff, was close friends to the former Migos rapper, rapping on songs together, attending parties, sports games and clubs together.
When Takeoff passed, Rich posted a heartfelt tribute to his longtime friend, writing:
“Today I lost more than a brother.” ‘My twin my best friend everything. I don’t wanna believe it I can’t. The most humble person I know we use to share shoes & clothes before we made it with no problem! I mis you already you didn’t deserve that!! I can’t stop crying I love you so much bro forever.”
Takeoff was shot and killed on November 1, 2022, during a dice game at a Houston bowling alley.
