Rapper 30 Deep Grimeyy Sentenced To 7 Years In Prison For Gun Charge

ST. LOUIS- Rapper 30 Deep Grimeyy has been sentenced to prison for gun charges.

The rapper, whose real name is Arthur Pressley, was sentenced to serve 7 years and eight months in prison for gun charge, according to KMOV.

The 25-year-old St. Louis rapper was stopped by police on January 5, 2021, for having a taillight out and license plates that belonged to another vehicle.

During the traffic stop, police officers found a Beretta 92FS 9mm pistol next to him in the vehicle.

30 Deep was arrested after being in possession of a gun as convicted felon and faking documents pertaining to the weapon.

He allegedly sent messages to the person who originally purchased the gun, asking him to falsify a bill of sale to one of the other occupants of the vehicle. In October, he produced a falsified a copy of the bill on the first day of his trial, according to the news station.

He has been convicted twice on charges of unlawful use of a weapon.
