Rapper Quavo Honors Nephew Takeoff With Heartfelt Performance During The Grammy’s

Rapper Quavo paid tribute to the late Takeoff last night at the Grammy’s.

The rapper performed his song “Without You”, which he wrote for Takeoff, during the show’s In Memoriam segment which honored musicians who died in 2022.

The performance was so heartfelt, with the Atlanta-based worship group Maverick City Music singing as Quavo held up Takeoff’s chain, which was a few feet away under a microphone, hanging over a stool.

Takeoff, 28, was the youngest member of the Migos group, with his cousin Offset. Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, died on November 1, 2022, after he was fatally shot outside of a Texas bowling alley.
