WASHINGTON, D.C.- Rapper No Savage pleaded guilty on Thursday to his involvement in a shooting at Tysons Corner Mall over Father’s Day Weekend last year.
The D.C. rapper, whose real name is Noah Settles, is accused of firing three shots inside of the crowded Tysons Corner Mall on June 18, 2022, which sent hundreds of people to flee for their lives.
Savage pleaded guilty to four charges in court on Thursday, according to WUSA-TV.
No one was shot.
Savage entered guilty pleas for three charges of malicious discharge in an occupied dwelling and one firearm charge. He was initially facing three other charges, but they were dropped as part of his plea agreement, reports WUSA-TV.
Despite the 23-year-old rapper pleading guilty, he is not admitting guilt. Under his plea agreement, he acknowledges that if the case went to trial, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office had enough evidence to convict him, the news outlet reported.
Savage was allegedly caught on video firing shots in the middle of the mall.
He allegedly got into an altercation with a group of men before the shooting.
No Savage faces up to 33 years in prison and is expected to be sentenced on June 23, 2023.
