TEXAS- ‘Days of Our Lives’ actor Cody Longo has died at 34.
Longo’s manager Alex Gittelson, confirmed the actor’s death on Twitter Friday, writing “Devastated beyond words at the tragic loss of my dear friend and client, Cody Longo.”
Longo’s lifeless body was discovered in bed at a residence in Austin on Wednesday, according to TMZ.
The outlet reports that Longo’s wife, professional choreographer/dancer, Stephanie Longo, was working at a local dance studio when she couldn’t get a hold of him.
That’s when she called police to conduct a welfare check on him.
When police arrived at their residence, they knocked on the door, but to no avail, so they kicked the door down and found the actor dead inside of a bedroom.
Longo reportedly had a history of struggling with alcohol abuse, going to a rehab in 2022, his wife told TMZ.
His cause of death is unknown at this time.
