Actress and 1960’s icon Raquel Welch has died at 82.
Welch’s manager confirmed the news.
“Rauel Welch, the legendary bombshell actress of film, television and stage, passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness,” Steven Sauer wrote in a statement, NBC News reported.
Welch’s career took off after her role in the 1996 adventure film “Fantastic Voyage” and when she appeared in “One Million Years. B.C.” in a fur bikini that made her an international sex symbol overnight.
She received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 1994.
