Reality star Alana “Honey Boo Boo” and her boyfriend were involved in a chase with police, according to reports.
The 17-year-old and her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, allegedly led police on a chase for about 3 miles. She wasn’t charged and is considered a witness to the alleged crime, according to PEOPLE.
The incident occurred Tuesday in Monroe County, Georgia, around 4:40 a.m. when a police officer ran the tag of a Dodge Charger that was in front of a gas station and found a warrant out for the owner’s arrest, reports The New York Daily News.
When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped off to the North. The vehicle didn’t stop until the officer used a PIT (precision immobilization technique) maneuver that disabled the vehicle by causing it to spin.
Her sister, Lauryn “Pumpkin”, who has sole custody of her, came to pick her up at the jail.
The former pageant star and Carswell do have an age difference, and many don’t agree with it. They have reportedly been dating for two years.
