FLORIDA- Rapper Slatt Zy is facing charges in connection to an armed robbery at a check cashing store this week.
Slatt Zy, whose real name is Taizion S. Vinson, was arrested by officers with the Calhoun Police Department, according to Times Free Press.
Police say Slatt, 21, allegedly led them on a short foot chase before he was arrested in a wooded area near-by, the news outlet reports.
A firearm that was allegedly used in the robbery and cash from the business was recovered, Times Free Press reports.
He was charged with armed robbery and is facing other charges. He’s being held without bond at the Gordan County Jail.
