FLORIDA- Three men accused of killing rapper XXXTentacion were sentenced to life in prison Thursday.
Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams and Trayvon Newsome were handed down a mandatory life sentences by Judge Michel Usan in Broward County, reports NBC Miami.
The judge told the men “You’ll spend every hour and week and year in your cell. And one day you have passed on, and on that day you would’ve served your sentence, according to NBC.
XXXTentacion’s manger, Soloman Sobande, read a statement on behalf of the family.
“This is a loss we will never truly recover from,” Sobande said. “We will never get to see Jahseh live to his full potential, we will never get to watch him grow old, we will never get to watch him be a father.”
All three men were convicted on first-degree murder and armed robbery.
XXXTentacion, 20, was robbed and killed after leaving Riva Motorsports on June 18, 2018.
The three men robbed him of $50,000 and before he was shot and killed.
