John Legend makes EGOT history, not once but twice.
The 39 year old singer/actor accepted his Emmy alongside Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber for producing the best variety special winner, “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.”
This makes John Legend the youngest EGOT winner and the first African-American male to do so.
“EGOT” stands for the four major entertainment awards, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
Legend celebrated making history with his wife Chrissy Teigen by posting a video of himself placing his award along with the rest them and a pic of his historic win. Check it out.
