Actor Jamie Foxx has been out of the hospital for weeks, despite rumors of him dying, according to his daughter Corinne on Friday.
Corinne, 29, wrote on his Instagram story “Update from the family: Sad to see media runs wild,” she wrote. “My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating.”
She added that Jamie “In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday,” and thanked for their “prayers.”
The statement from the family comes a day after outlets like “Rap Tv” were reporting that the family was “preparing for the worse” due to the actor’s health declining.
But Foxx’s daughter even told teasing fans, saying “We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
Foxx, 49, was reportedly hospitalized last month for a mystery illness.
