MIAMI, FLORIDA- Rapper Trina will be holding a free event in Miami to honor her late niece and to raise awareness about gun violence.
“The Welcome To Suga Land” is a free Trina Day event that will be held on Saturday, according to the rapper.

The event will be family friendly and is being held near the scene where Trina’s niece was killed.
Toni Chester, also known as ‘Baby Suga”, died after she was shot and killed July 20, 2002.
Two other people were injured, and police have made no arrests.
