HARLEM, NYC- (Update) Two boys have been found dead a week after they were reported missing.
11-year-old Alfa Ousmane Barrie, who had been missing for a week, was pulled from the Hudson River on Saturday.
A family member confirmed Barrie’s identity.
This comes after police recovered 13-year-old Garrett Warrens body under the Madison Avenue Bridge. He had been missing since last week. Warrens was also identified by a family member.
Police said Barrie was reported missing on Sunday, May 14, 2023, and Warren was reported missing on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Both boys were last seen at a playground in Harlem on May 12, 2023.
Police searched the river after they received a tip that two boys were seen in the Harlem River.
There is an ongoing investigation.
