MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA- Singer DaniLeigh was arrested in Miami by police after she was involved in a hit-and-run.
The “Easy” singer had been driving her car under the influence in the early morning hours of May 30 when she allegedly struck a man on a moped, allegedly causing serious injuries to the victim.
Rapper DaBaby’s ex and baby mama was seen speeding while swerving in and out of lanes in the moments before the incident, according to witnesses in a police report, OK! magazine reports.
She reportedly slammed into the moped driver and dragged the scooter for almost an entire block.
A bystander called on a police officer who was close-by, and he stopped the singer from driving, according to the outlet.
DaniLeigh failed more than one sobriety test and smelled of alcohol, according to the responding police officer.
She took a breathalyzer and blew a 0.145 and) 0.148, which are both the legal limit.
DaniLeigh was charged with three counts of felony: Driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash and DUI damage to property.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated. He suffered a spinal fracture and a kidney laceration.
