MEMPHIS- A person of interest in the murder investigation of rapper Young Dolph has been found dead.
Joshua Taylor was shot and killed on Wednesday. His body was found inside of a car, and it’s been suspected that he was a friend of Justin Johnson, one of the two men accused of shooting Dolph, reports FOX 13.
Taylor, also known as Teezy, was named a person of interest back in 2022. He reportedly had warrants for his arrest due to charges of theft of property between $10,000-$60,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Taylor wasn’t charged with anything, but investigators were interested in speaking with him to see if he knew Johnson’s whereabouts on the day Young Dolph was killed.
Police have made no arrests in Taylor’s death, but there is an active investigation.
Young Dolph was ambushed inside of a bakery in Nov. of 2021.
