Robert De Niro’s Grandson’s Cause Of Death Is Revealed

NYC- The cause of death for actor Robert De Niro’s grandson, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, has been released.

The 19-year-old reportedly died from a lethal combination of several drugs.

Rodriguez reportedly had fentanyl, Xanax, cocaine, bromazolam,  aminoclonazepam and ketamine in his system at the time of death, according to the New York City’s Chief medical, TMZ reports.

His death has been ruled as an accidental overdose.

Rodriguez was found dead sitting in a chair inside of his NYC apartment on July 3 during a welfare check.

Police found drugs and drug paraphernalia near his body when they arrived at the scene.

His death is being investigated as an accidental overdose, TMZ confirms.

The woman who allegedly sold him the fentanyl-laced pills was arrested and charged.

Sofia Haley Marks, 20, an alleged drug dealer, known as the “Percocet Princess” was federally charged with distribution of narcotics, police told The Post. She was arrested during an undercover sting operation conducted by the NYPD, DEA and Homeland Security.

Rodriguez was also an actor, following in the footsteps of his grandfather. He was credited for his roles in “A Star Is Born” (2018), “Cabaret Maxime” (2018) and “The Collection” (2005), which featured his mother, Drena De Niro.
