Woman Sentenced For Luring Man To Area Where MS-13 Members Murdered Him

TEXAS- A woman was sentenced to prison for luring a man, where MS-13 gang members murdered him.

Karla Jackelin Morales, 24, pleaded guilty on Friday to charges in connection to the 2018 murder of 24-year-old Jose Alfonso Villanueva, according to reports.

Morales was scheduled to go to trial in 2021, but she jumped bond, cutting her ankle monitor off and fleeing. She was arrested in Houston nine months later.

MS-13 members felt Villanueva had dissed them in a rap battle.

Morales lured Villanueva to a field, after telling him they would both smoke marijuana to celebrate his birthday. Morales instead, took him to the area where the five MS-13 members were waiting to kill him.

Villanueva was attacked with a machete before he was shot while attempting to flee.

His body was found a week later.

All five members were convicted in Villanueva’s murder.
