Rapper A$AP Rocky To Appear In A Los Angeles Court For Firearms Charge

LOS ANGELES- Rapper A$AP Rocky is expected to appear for a preliminary hearing Thursday.

The Harlem rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was charged in 2021 for allegedly shooting at a fellow A$AP Mob member in Hollywood.

The shooting occurred on November 6, 2021, after an argument ensued between A$AP and an acquaintance.

The argument escalated and A$AP allegedly fired a semi-automatic handgun at his former friend before fleeing the scene with two other associates.

The alleged victim sustained a minor injury.

He was arrested at LAX Airport last year after returning from a vacation from Barbados Rihanna.
A$SAP Rocky has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
