‘Basketball Wives’ Star Brittish Williams Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison For PPV Loan Fraud

“Basketball Wives” alum Brittish Wiliams will be exchanging her designer clothes for an orange jumpsuit after being sentenced to federal prison Tuesday.

Williams was sentenced to 4 years in prison, for 15 fraud-related felonies, despite her asking the judge for leniency so she wouldn’t be separated from her daughter, according to the River Front Times.

She also admitted to the crimes to the judge, saying “I knew better, and I did wrong anyway,” Williams said, despite saying she was innocent of the accusations on “Basketball Wives”.

In addition to being sentenced to four years in prison, the judge also ordered Williams to pay restitution of $565,000.

She was accused by federal agents of illegally obtaining PPP loans and fraudulently using Social Security numbers.

Williams pleaded guilty to five federal counts of misuse of a Social Security number, four counts of bank fraud, three counts of wire fraud and three counts of making false statements to the IRS, the River Front Times reports.

Her crimes happened over a span of 10 years, and continued after she was indicted, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Diane Klocke.

She joined the VH1 show in 2014.

Willaims shares a 4-year-old daughter with basketball player Lorenzo Gordon.
