(Update) Rapper Big Mota In Non-Critical Condition After Double Shooting Leaves One Dead At Gas Station

MEMPHIS, Tenn – Rapper Big Mota has been identified as one of two victims in a double shooting that left one person dead.

Police say the rapper is in non-critical condition following a shooting on Thursday night that left one person dead at a gas station, according to local reports.

Memphis police responded to a shooting at in the 1300 block of Winchester Road just before 1 a.m., WREG reported.

One man was taken to a hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead.

A second victim, now identified as the rapper, arrived at Regional One Hospital by private vehicle. He is reportedly in non-critical condition.

Police say the suspect fled the scene in a silver Infiniti.
