MAINE – The man suspected of killing 18 people and wounding 13 others in a mass shooting has been found dead, police said.
After a 48-hour manhunt, the body of Robert R. Card, 40, was discovered in the woods near the town of Lisbon Falls, where police found his abandoned vehicle shortly after the shooting spree on Wednesday,
Card, a former Marine, first opened fire at the Just-In-Time Recreation bowling alley, and minutes later at the Schemengees Bar & Grille Restaurant.
There is no known motive, but police were warned about Card just two days before the massacre.
