Rapper BussDown Bandy Charged With Human Trafficking Teen Girl

OAKLAND – Rapper BussDown Bandy has been arrested and charged with trafficking a 16-year-old girl, according to court records.

The rapper, whose real name is Michael Isrealishia Moore, 28, was charged this month with human trafficking of a minor, as well as pimping and pandering a girl who identified him from one of his music videos, the Mercury News reports.

The teen girl came forward to police on Nov. 2. Authorities say patrol cars came across the alleged victim who was outside of a convenience store and began to talk to her because she seemed upset, according to the news outlet.

It was during the conversation that she told police Moore was her pimp.

She told police she had been trafficked by other men, and was allegedly approached by Moore as she was walking down a known area for prostitution in L.A. She said the rapper invited her to smoke marijuana and asked her to work for him as a prostitute instead.

The teen told police that Moore was shocked by her age but continued to associate with her.

She identified the rapper by his stage name BussDown Bandy from a music video.

Text messages and video surveillance confirmed the allegation Moore was trafficking the girl and that they associated with other.

Moore was set to appear in court on Tuesday but didn’t show up due to an unspecified medical condition. His bail was set at $350,000 and his next court date is in Jan.

BussDown Bandy is a known associate of rapper Mozzy.
