Man Convicted Of Killing Child’s Mother Because He Falsey Believed She Had An STD

FLORIDA – A man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of his child’s mother because he falsely believed she had given him an STD.

Keith Agee, 20, was sentenced to life in prison for the premeditated murder of Brooklyn Sims, 19, according to reports.

He was found not guilty for aggravated battery related to injuries incurred by two other individuals at the scene.

Sims was shot to death while working at a Home Depot in Florida on Aug. 11. Keith was arrested on the day of the murder, and his mother, Sheila Agee, 50, was arrested on Alabama and was charged with murder days after the deadly incident for allegedly helping her son plan Sims murder.

According to reports, Sheila worked with Sims and provided her son with the address to the Home Depot on the day of the murder.

“As long as you don’t shoot me,” Sheila texted Keith the day of, according to court documents.

Keith killed Sims because he believed that she had given him an STD, but evidence provided in court proved she didn’t have an STD, which means she died for nothing.

Sheila is awaiting trial for her first-degree murder charge. She has pleaded not guilty.
