SOUTH KOREA – Actor Lee Sun-Kyun has died at 48.
The Oscar-winning “Parasite” actor died on Wednesday, according to reports.
After weeks of authorities investigating the actor for alleged illegal drug use which Lee denied, South Korean authorities said Lee was found dead in his car in Seoul. His death is being investigated as a suicide.
Police said they were searching for Lee after a missing person’s report was filed.
Lee was found by police in an unconscious state in his car. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
There is no cause of death for the actor.
South Korean news outlets have reported that Lee’s manager shared to the police that the actor left his home after leaving a message that seemed like a suicide note.
