Pastor Accused Of Trying To Deep-Fry Wife’s Co-Worker’s Head Inside McDonalds

NORTH CAROLINA – A pastor was arrested and charged after being accused of trying to deep-fry his wife’s co-worker’s head, police said.

Dwayne Wayden was charged with assault and battery and was later released on $1,000 bond.

Wayden, 57, angrily walked into the McDonald’s restaurant after his wife had called him to complain about a co-worker who was “disrespecting” her during her shift, according to an incident report from the High Point Police Department.

He walked around the counter and “placed his hands around the neck of the victim pushing his head toward the deep fryer,” the incident report reads. “The offender also punched the offender several times on the face and did not stop until several employees pulled the offender off of the victim.”

The co-worker, Theodore Naquan Garlington, had suffered a “large contusion” to his forehead and right eye, along with scratches on his neck.

Garlington was taken to a hospital and treated for his injuries.

Police reviewed security footage from the McDonald’s and later arrested and charged Wayden.
