Student, 15, Leaves Teacher With Brain Injury After Attacking Her While ‘Hallucinating’ On Drugs

OHIO – A 15-year-old student punched his teacher in the face while he was allegedly “hallucinating” on drugs and left her with “severe brain injury.”

The student began behaving “distraught” after he “ingested an unknown drug” inside of a classroom Thursday, police said, according to WLWT.

The teen allegedly punched the 60-year-old teacher in her head and caused her ” a severe brain injury requiring extensive medical treatment.”

He was also accused of attacking another fellow 15-year-old student by grabbing him and pinching his neck.

The teacher was taken to a hospital, where she reportedly had her skullcap removed to prevent damage from swelling.

Police found the teen suspect in the school’s lobby with a self-inflicted headwound. He was taken to a hospital, and then to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of felonious assault.

The school said it’s conducting a investigation into the incident.
