CALIFORNIA – A man was found dead after he was attacked by his own pit bulls, police said.
The 35-year-old man who was a pit bull breeder, was discovered dead in Compton early Friday, according to KTLA.
Police and paramedics responded to a call at the home around 7 a.m. after the man’s friend had called 911 to report that he was seen mauled by his dog in his backyard.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the man’s body in one of his kennels in his backyard.
13 pit bulls, 5 adults and 8 puppies were taken by the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.
Video surveillance footage from the property shows the deadly attack occurred Thursday.
