BROOKLYN, NYC – A deli worker was executed Monday afternoon after an argument over a cigar and now police are searching for a suspect.
The deadly incident happened around 4:15 p.m. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn when 37-year-old Nazim Berry got into a verbal dispute with the gunman after he refused to give him a free cigar.
The gunman left the deli, and returned later, shooting Berry in his head, execution style.
He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
Relatives close to Berry said he was killed after he refused to give the gunman a free $2 cigar.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
