Rapper Jackboy Arrested On Gun And Drug Possession Charges

Rapper Jackboy was arrested on weapons and gun charges, police announced Wednesday.

A Port St. Lucie police gang unit were conducting a traffic stop Tuesday around 11 p.m. on the Florida rapper’s black Chevrolet Suburban, citing multiple traffic infractions, including the odor of marijuana coming from the SUV, unlawfully dark tinted windows, and the driver being on a FaceTime call while driving.

When officers approached the SUV to speak to Jackboy, whose real name is Pierre Delince, they said they saw a loaded Glock 19 handgun with a loaded extended magazine containing 32 rounds in the passenger floorboard, The St. Lucie News – Tribune reported.

Jackboy, a convicted felon, is prohibited from possessing guns or amno.

Police asked Jackboy to lower his windows, but he told them that he couldn’t because his windows are bulletproof, and the SUV was armored.

Police said there were several THC-related items allegedly found in the vehicle that included vape pens, marijuana laced juices, and marijuana in the center console.

His brother arrived at the scene, telling officers that the gun belonged to him.

Jackboy was charged with possession of a firearm by a gang-related convicted felon; possession of firearm by a gang-related convicted felon; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; two counts of possession of cannabis over 20 grams (THC Liquid); possession of cannabis under 20 grams, possession of cannabis under 20 gram; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving while license suspended; and violation of a court order – prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Jackboy was taken into custody at the St. Lucie County Jail before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on $390,000 bond.
