MANHATTAN – A group of thirteen men are accused of attacking of allegedly attacking and robbing a 19-year-old man on a subway platform Wednesday, police said.
The incident happened on the northbound D train platform at the 59th Street-Colombus Circle subway station around 1:15 a.m.
The teen victim was reportedly approached by the large group and was engaged in a conversation with them when was assaulted.
He was robbed of his sneakers, coat and cellphone before the group fled the scene.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
