TEXAS – A mother who fatally shot a 14-year-old boy who was breaking into her 8-year-old daughter’s window last December won’t be facing charges.
A grand jury this week chose to no-bill Aleah Wallace, meaning they found no evidence to charge her with a crime for the deadly shooting, according to reports.
Wallace, who says she sends condolences to the teen’s family, attends therapy on a weekly basis with her family, who are traumatized over the incident.
Wallace says she was facing an eviction for allegedly violating the apartment’s rules that guns aren’t allowed in government subsidized housing.
Her eviction was dropped., and her family has since moved.
