Former Atlanta Falcons signee admits to molesting 12 year old girl

A former Atlanta Falcons signee has admitted to molesting a 12 year old girl.

Justin Crawford, 23, was arrested on Saturday and charged with child molestation, sodomy and intcing a child for indecent purposes.

According to court documents obtained by The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer, Crawford admitted to molesting the 12 year girl.

During his preliminary hearing, police said Crawford’s wife woke up at 5am to find her husband standing over the victim with what she originally said what an erection. She later told The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer  that he had fact had his penis exposed, as he was standing over the little girl who was laying down on their coach. And immediately ran to their kitchen to hide.

Police say she returned to their bedroom and went to sleep but couldn’t rest easy after what she had saw. Crawford’s wife said she questioned her husband, who denied the allegations.

Upon Crawford’s wife returning the little girl back to her home, the victims mother asked what had happened and that’s when the little girl told her mother that she was asleep  when Crawford had her perform oral sex and intercourse.

A rape kit was tested on the child for any D.N.A.. When police questioned Crawford, he denied the allegations but later admitted performing oral sex on and intercourse with the victim, adding that it was her idea.

The child is believed to be a family member.

Crawford is being held without bond.
