Singer Sean Kingston And His Mother Arraigned On Fraud Charges

FLORIDA – Singer Sean Kingston and his mother plead not guilty Monday in court to charges of defrauding multiple businesses of more than $1 million.

Th rapper and singer, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, pleaded not guilty to organized fraud and grand theft charges. Both entered their pleas during an arraignment hearing before a judge, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Bond was set at $90,000 at a previous hearing and it remains not changed.

The 34-year-old ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer was arrested in California back in May on a warrant, after his home was raided by SWAT.

The rapper and his mother are accused of defrauding a jewelry business, a used luxury exotic car dealership, a luxury bed company and a luxury micro-LED TV company since Oct. 2023, arrest warrants said.

Both are expected to be back in court on Oct. 11.
