Selena was killed on March 31st, 1995 after meeting with Yolanda Saldivar, who was once the founder of Selena’s fan club and who was also hired to manage the singers clothing boutique.
Selena had met up with Saldivar to retrieve financial documents, after the singers family found out that Saldivar had been caught embezzling money from the Singer’s business.
Saldivar was to return those documents over to Selena at the Motel, but instead shot and killed the singer.
