‘Laverne & Shirley” actress Penny Marshall has died at the age 75.
The actress died due to complications from Diabetes. According to her publicist Michelle Bega, Marshall died “peacefully at her Hollywood Hills home.”
In the late 2000’s, Marshall had confirmed that she’d been diagnosed with lung cancer that had spread to her brain, but denied that she was dying.
Marshall was born in the Bronx, married and divorced twice. Her ex-husband Rob Reiner took to Twitter to express his feelings over his death.
I loved Penny. I grew up with her. She was born with a great gift. She was born with a funnybone and the instinct of how to use it. I was very lucky to have lived with her and her funnybone. I will miss her.

Her brother Gary Marshall, who was a producer, director, credited for his work in Pretty Woman, Happy Days. He died in 2016.
According to IMDb, Penny was in post-production on a documentary that profiled ex-basketball player Dennis Rodman. The documentary is set to be released in 2019.
