R.Kelly

Investigations are being launched after R.Kelly documentary; number of calls to hotlines have also spiked

Investigations are being launched after the documentary ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ debuted on Lifetime.

Chicago prosecutor Kimberly Foxx has urged victims of R.Kelly to please step forward. She said “There’s nothing that can be done to investigate these allegations without the cooperation of both victims and witnesses. We cannot seek justice without you.”

There is also an Atlanta lawyer, Gerald Giggs, who’s representing a couple who say their daughter is allegedly being held against her will by R.Kelly, that says she has been approached by Atlanta’s District attorney’s office.

Here is a video of a couple pleading R.Kelly to release their daughter.

Women in the documentary, including R.Kelly’s ex-wife, are accusing him of sexual, physical and mental abuse.

It’s a shock that R.Kelly is not serving years in prison, seeing all of these victims with the same stories and the fact that he does has a history of accusations involving minors. R.Kelly was also aquitted of child pornogrophy years ago, when a video of him surfaced on the internet showing him clearly urinating on a young female. That female was believed to have been 14 years old, but R.Kelly was aquitted when the females age couldn’t be proven in court. In 2017, 2018, R.Kelly was also accused of having a sex cult.

Since this documentary was broadcasted, calls to the US National Sexual Assault Hotline has risen by 20%.
