Chicago- Prosecutors are seeking a life sentence for a man who killed a four-year-old- girl who spilled juice on an Xbox video console.
19-year-old Johnathan Fair, was babysitting his girlfriends four-year-old- daughter Skylar Mendez on Dec.13th at an apartment, when she was allegedly beaten. Fair brought the little girl to the hospital after she lost conscious. He lied and told the hospital that she had fallen.
According to the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, she died several days later, after doctors performed brain surgery on her to relieve swelling that she had on her brain.
Fair allegedly beat the little girl because she spilled juice on an Xbox game console.
The mother was not home at the time.
Fair was indicted with four counts of first-degree aggravated battery by a grand jury on Wednesday.
