27-year-old ‘Instagram Model” Elena Karimova from Russia, headed to court today, where surveillance video was released from 9 months ago when she murdered her two children.
The details as to how she murdered them are gut wrenching.
Video footage shows Karimova, acting very normal at a filling station purchasing petrol, lighter fluid and a Snickers bar, which would be the children’s last meal.
According to The Sun, about an hour after she left the filling station, it’s alleged that she then parked her rented car, and strangled both of her children in the back seat. She thenset their bodies on fire with the fluid she brought. After she burned them , it’s being reported that she used water to turn out the flames out, so nobody would notice.
It’s alleged Karimova then took the dead bodies of her children in the same car she burned them in that night, and the following day, took them to an abandoned warehouse where she set fire to the building.
She told officers “I couldn’t provide for my children”, but according to her spending habits, she definitely had money, taking holiday trips overseas and more.
She also blamed the murders on her divorce.
