Singer R.Kelly has been released from Cook County jail after he paid $161,000 in child support that has been owed to his ex-wife Andrea Kelly.
The singer was jailed after failure to pay his child support payments.
The singer has been arrested twice in two weeks in Chicago’s Cook County jail. He was first jailed after being charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse, which he pleaded not guilty to. The 52-year-old Grammy award winning singer allegedly had sexual relations with four women, three of them being minors years back.
The first time he was arrested, he couldn’t afford his $100,000 bond and a female acquaintance of his put the money up. She claims to be a longtime friend and believes he’s innocent of what he’s been accused of doing to the four woman & other women.
