ALPHARETTA, Ga- Filmmaker, actor Tyler Perry has stepped in to help pay for the funeral cost of a mother of four who was killed.
Police believe that 45-year-old Tynesha Evans was killed by her boyfriend 58-year-old Othniel Inniss outside of a bank on Saturday in Atlanta. According to WSB-TV, Perry heard about the Evan’s killing and contacted her daughter.
He told her that he wanted have her mother’s body flown out to her hometown of Wisconsin. He also told her that he would pay for her sister Sharadiant Turner’s tuition, so that she could stay in school.
Evan’s was a single mother, and an author according to what her family wrote on her GoFundMe page, “She was an author, mother, visionary and she worked for Ciox Health,” her family wrote on a GoFundMe page the set up for the single mother on Sunday. They wrote that Evans was the sole breadwinner in the family and that they were raising funds to pay for her funeral and “to not be homeless in a few weeks.”
The family was also facing an eviction from their complex, but with the help of Perry again, the family will still have a place they can call home.
As for Evan’s boyfriend, Inniss faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a firearm.
