Police say missing 4-year-old girl was killed; you won’t believe who has been charged

HOUSTON- Missing 4-year-old Maleah Davis is mostly likely dead, according to police.

Maleah went missing earlier this month. It was her mother’s ex-fiance Derion Vence who had reported her missing, telling police that Maleah, his 2-year-old son and him were taken on May 3rd by a group of men in a truck on a highway.

Vence then told police that the men who had kidnapped all three of them, decided to free him and his son, but they kept Maleah and his vehicle.

The police weren’t buying his story.

Police found blood inside of Vence’s apartment and K-9 dogs detected the scent of human decomposition in his car when they found it.

Vence has been charged with tampering with evidence, a human corpse to be exact.

Police say they are now looking for Maleah’s body, and volunteers have been showing up to help, finding two cell phones already along a highway. One didn’t belong to Vence, the other is unknown.

Vence’s iPhone is a huge missing key in this case.

The reward is now $22,000. If you have any information, please call 713-222-TIPS.
